School Environment

Numerous students and parents have been involved in BFPS environmental initiatives over many years.  We have beautiful grounds which are the envy of many schools.

Bobs Farm has won many District Awards for our Environmental Initiatives.

Sustainability and Me is a banner under which Bobs Farm Public School promotes an overarching theme of sustainability to on-ground environmental projects. The banner aims to enhance students understanding of sustainability and how their own actions and choices relate to a sustainable environment. Projects are practical and predominantly implemented on school grounds to enforce the concept of acting locally, thinking globally.

Projects have included the vegie patch, chicken coup, bushland appreciation walks, Clean Up Australia Day, National Tree Day, the garden, native plant workshop, K-6 recycling challenge, worm farm and recycling printer cartridges and aluminium cans.
